There are over 260 thousands of orphans living in Russian asylums and boarding schools. The public institution becomes their only refuge. 
 
In May 2006 the company NIKAMED became the sponsor of the asylum n.7 in Moscow. The asylum is home for 150 children of age from 4 to 18 with different level of intellectual development delay and other neurologic diseases. 
 

 

 

Pedagogues and doctors help children fight the disease, study and get adapted to social life.
Nevertheless they are in need of extra care and our company partly took responsibility for that.

The sponsorship of the asylum n.7 is the practical fulfillment of mission which is the basis of NIKAMED’s activity: to improve people’s life by pooling and applying the universal experience of doctors and specialists of healthcare industry. We strive for bringing happiness into young Russians’ lives.
 
Our aid is not limited to the improvement of welfare and the purchases of necessary equipment. Children should feel the care, warmth and confidence. The employees of NIKAMED give children presents and attention, which is the strongest source of joy, love, a will to live and to recover.
